Ahmed Hadid Arabic: احمد حديد‎ (born on July 18, 1984) is an Omani footballer. He currently plays as a midfielder for the Qatari club Al-Jaish. He is also a member of the Oman national football team.

International career

He is part of the first squad in the Oman national football team, and wears the number 21. Ahmed was selected for the national team in 2003, along with Badr Al-Maimani and Ali Al-Habsi. He has made appearances in the 2004 Gulf Cup of Nations, the 2004 Asian Cup, qualification for the 2006 World Cup, the 2007 Gulf Cup of Nations, and qualification for 2010 World Cup.

Future

Manchester United and Arsenal have both been linked with a move for him. This is due to him being tipped as the next David Beckham. He recently came out in the press and revealed that he will sign for an English premier league club very soon.
